ArtistX 1.1 - How many apps can you get on one Linux Distro

ArtistX 1.1 A Linux Distro based on Ubuntu 11.04 with a huge selection of software of Multimedia, Image, Sound, and Video Editing, HTML, Office and Gaming applications pre-installed. This is only an overview of the system and not a full review. Comes complete with 2500 applications pre-installed, including: Gimp, Inkscape, Blender, K3D, Cinelerra, Openshot, Kdenlive, Audacity, VLC, Banshee, Clementine, plus many more Website: http://www.artistx.org Sadly its a 32bit Kernel only and limits the distro to older computers or systems with less than 4Gb RAM. It can be run as a Live CD or Full Install. Running it as a Live CD gives you a great opportunity to try out a huge selection of applications without installing too much on your own system.

Google Chrome on Arch Linux

Yes, technically it is Chromium as it is the source build, but I figured more people know what chromium is than chrome. I thought I would do some beta testing. It seems to be really good, and I have started using it as my main browser. It's very fast and smooth. I just hope for more plugin support, and I still need to get the flash player working. It seems to be working fine. Try it if you will :).
