KWin in KDE 4.1 alpha 1-somthing
This is a video from KWin made some time after KDE 4.1 alpha 1. It shows some of the new features in KWin. KDE 4.4 on Arch Linux without a Taskbar
This is Arch Linux running on my HP Comapq Mini Netbook. The Desktop Environment is KDE 4.4.4 I decided to ditch the "Taskbar" to save precious screen space and to rely on KWin's Window Management capabilities only. It works very good! After a few days of usage I don't even miss the Taskbar. Only thing is that you cannot drag'n'drop between two maximized windows, because you'd need the taskbar for that ;)
