First look and review of Ubuntu 11.10 Alpha 3 codenamed Oneiric Ocelot. This video is of a full system install and I show you the new features that have been added to Unity 3D. Changes so far: Unity 3D ported across to Gnome 3 Me-Menu removed (Gwibber is still pre-installed) More features added to Shutdown menu More features returned to System Settings New Application selector on Ctrl+Tab New style GTK3 Software Centre Firefox uplifted to Version 6 beta GDM swapped with LightDM Noticeable Bugs: No restart button No autologin Installer requires blank password Unable to delete files in Nautilus Totem Media Player doesn't work More News about Changes coming to Ubuntu 11.10: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ty1es9StG18 At this stage its for testing only, and not advisable to use it on a production machine.
