Aion on Linux with WINE (Ubuntu 9.04 x64)
Aion on Linux with WINE (Ubuntu 9.04 x64). Instructions to get AION working can be found on the official WINE website: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=17877 To summarize, I installed AION on a Windows Virtual Machine, and copied to host. The installer wouldnt install to my host over the virtual "network" like some comments suggested. It started right up without having to register anything, except it was in korean (or something). Have to find some language pack fix or something. There is a serious issue with the mouse when I tested. When you go to "aim" your character, or swim the camera around, the mouse acts like its at the edge of the screen, allowing little to no movement of the mouse. Makes it nearly impossible to use the mouse for turning. ================================= --- System specs --- Intel i7 950 (4x core, OC to 4ghz) 12gb 2000mhz DDR3 RAM 3x Velociraptor 10,000 RPM harddrives in RAID-0 NVIDIA GeForce 275 =================================
