If you're familiar with Linux and the Compiz desktop effect, you know what I'm talking about: instead of swiping between pages, you'll swipe between different sides of a cube. In the tweak's settings, you can customize the effect so that homescreen icons will appear to be either inside our outside the cube. Cydelete: CyDelete is a new application which deletes jailbroken iPhone applications straight from the SpringBoard just like Official App Store apps. ----- Since the dawn of Cydia, users have been struggling to remove applications they've installed with it. Uninstalling a package is a seven-step operation at best: Start Cydia, Manage, Packages, (locate package), Modify, Remove, Confirm. With the advent of CyDelete, however, Cydia packages can now be removed like any App Store applications- hold down the icon, wait for them to start wiggling, and tap the X. What was once cumbersome is now integrated into the standard iPhoneOS workflow. It is a lightweight MobileSubstrate plugin that only does anything in Wiggle Mode. CyDelete will not remove applications that are not managed by Cydia, though they will be branded with an X. From SpringBoard's standpoint, applications managed by Cydia and applications just sitting in /Applications are one and the same. Changing Titles And Title Tags On Wordpress Blog

Part one covered buying a Domain Name, Changing the Name Servers and adding your new Domain Name to your self hosting account. If you missed part one you can review it by clicking here. So now you have a new folder in the back office of your Cpanel control panel and you are ready to actually install your WordPress Blog onto your domain name. Once you have completed this part of the task you will access your blog through the WordPress Admin log in and away you go with your first post if you want to. Step Four: By far the easiest way in which to install WordPress onto your blog is using the FANTASTICO smiley face software which is built into your Cpanel for you. So here we go with the next part of your blog installation :- Now you have the basic WordPress Blog added to your domain name and your next task will be to customize it to suit your own particular style and brand name or business. I have opted to use the Thesis Theme which is a paid for Theme but there are plenty available from WordPress that are completely free. The Thesis theme was a recommended one from Mike Dillard's Trrafic Formula 2.0 course and I found it very good for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) rankings. Step Five: This video shows you how to upload the Thesis Theme which I downloaded as a Zip file to my hard drive. What you will usually find is that FTP (file transfer protocol) is usually required for this step and that is usually the next stumbling block for most people, but as I said before I just find a way to get these sort of things working and move on. So uploading a Theme from a zip file to your Cpanel without an FTP program ... Correction Step Six : To INSTALL the Thesis theme this time round, I just had to hit the INSTALL button and it was live, this was much easier than having to add some code to the Custom CSS file in your Cpanel files, which would have been another stumbling block that would rule most people out of being able to complete the process. (If that is a little "foreign" don't worry it seems it is easier than ever to INSTALL new WordPress Themes) the PLUG INS are also as easy as point, click and install which I will cover in the third in this mini series of blog posts for you. There are HUNDREDS of great FREE THEMES ready to install from WordPress too, they are getting better all the time. Whenever you are thinking about changing codes in your Theme always take a copy of what is already there FIRST and copy & paste it to Notepad so that in the event you mess it up, you can simply default to the original and try again. In the video above I put in an incorrect TITLE and TITLE TAG during the last part of installation which is a hazard of a live video sometimes, so this is a useful addition to the above to correct the title and title tag within WordPress. You can adjust most things from within your WordPress Dashboard including your password. So here is the next video showing you how to change those all important details :- So now you should have a WordPress Blog, installed on your domain name and self hosted which means you have now created your own piece of VIRTUAL REAL ESTATE, which after our list, or more importantly the relationship with your list .. your blog is close to being the most important asset in your business.
