AMD Opteron 6174, 287 hour electrical cost usage for a server with four AMD Opteron 6174 processors

This twelve day electrical cost usage test was performed on a four processor AMD Opteron 6174 server. This real-world test was performed on a Linux server that PADT-IT custom built to run ANSYS 13.0. The server is in a 1U configuration with three - 2 TB drives, and one SSD drive, running Linux. The server was running the latest version of ANSYS 13.0. The video was taken during the test, total test time was 287+ hours. I used a value of $0.11 per/kWh. In Arizona it varies for us so I took our average.
