Samsung Galaxy S GT-i9000 Software Tour Part 2
In this video we demonstrate even more software that comes standard on the Samsung Galaxy S. The Android powered phone has some unique software that allows you to created your own diary entries and save them directly to the device. The video player is capable of Divx decoding which has been rather rare for other Android devices. Video playback is clear and does not lag even on larger formats. There is a documents suite that is compatible with Microsoft Office and gives you the option to backup your documents to an online documents server. Other standard programs included are Navigation, a voice recorder, and music player. Search through all of your files with the on-board My Files application that eliminates the need to use a third party application. Tired of that old Android font? Open display settings and you can change the font to customize the device even further.

The phone has many new and exclusive applications that include an ebook reader that rivals even the best electronic paper book devices. The Galaxy S has the ability to play nearly any media shared over a network connection through the incorporation of ReadyDLNA. The phone of course has the standard calculator, alarm clock, and calendar of many other smart phones. Samsung's Touch Wiz has been called mediocre but on this device there are positive subtle changes that enhance the Android OS.
