Gentoo booting OCZ Vertes 2 Solid State Drive - SSD Upgrade Part 2
Yes, unboxing videos are shit so I didn't do one. People are unbxing HDMI to DVI adapters FFS, I don't cater for the simple minded who find that interesting. Gparted ate my /root partition whilst resizing so I had to reintall Gentoo. I am using a 32MB /boot partition and the rest is my /root partition. Cold boot from a powered down machine is about 15 seconds, full desktop in 10-11 seconds from grub, well worth the money!

My SSD Installation Experience Part 4 : Installing XP from Disk
Some of these videos are going to be boring, but some may provide some help to those interested in doing the same. This drive doesn't have Trim, so considering that neither does XP, it's not really going to matter if I had put Windows 7 or something else on or not. Besides I'm cramming games on this one.
