After about a year of waiting for Xorg to release an xorg-server that didn't lock up on my Linux machine. 1.8.1.902 was tested on my machine, and it worked! I patched it with a hacked xineramainfo performed by yours truly and set up dual twinview across 2 monitors each, then stitched it all together with xinerama. I'm sure 3D acceleration doesn't work right, but thats OK for me because I don't do gaming and don't need wobbly window effects. This machine is used for day-to-day desktop applications as well as business operations and video editing.

OpenSuse 11.1 using Dual Head Xinerama
I actually used record my desktop for recording the Extended monitor. Since the output is 2x(1280*780) I need to edit the video according the youtube requirements.

Xgl/Compiz with Xinerama Dualview
